Join us for the Fiddle Song Collection this Fall!
You’ll learn twenty-five beloved Music Together® songs and activities you can recreate at home. During the chant “Sounds of Fall” your child will be mesmerized as the class expresses the sound and movement of leaves falling and birds chirping and flying. In “Old King Cole” you will don the persona of the King, Queen, Prince, Princess, and Baby as you sing, drum, and fiddle together. In addition to your weekly classes, your tuition includes recordings and materials for you to use at home, online access to the songs through the Hello Everybody app, and a family newsletter full of resources and music-making ideas. This semester, we will also be celebrating the International Day of Peace with a very special Music Together Around the World party and you are invited!
Classes Start April 6th! This semester we'll learn twenty-five new songs and activities, including Music Together® favorites like "Allee Galloo." Your whole family will enjoy going to the beach with "Maria Isabel," chug-a-chugging along the tracks during "The Train Song" and following the leader in "Can You Do What I Do?" as we explore all the fun in the Triangle Collection. In addition to your weekly classes, your tuition includes materials for you to use at home, access to the online Family Music Zone, and a family newsletter full of resources and music-making ideas!
Registration includes eight weeks of class, 2 CDs, a Songbook (music can also be downloaded!) and an invitation to Music Together's Family Music Zone.
This winter I have SO much fun planned with the Music Together song collection "BELLS!" Together, we'll play with our voices by mimicking the sounds of instruments in the “French Folk Song,” and Spanish-speaking animals in “De Colores.” (Did you know that in Spanish, roosters say “Quiri-quiri quiri” to wake people up?) Making funny animal sounds, lip-burring, and other tonal play helps children explore their vocal register, discover their singing voices and distinguish them from their speaking voices. And since children learn from contrasts and by expressing music with their full bodies, we’ll be hopping lightly like birds and sliding smoothly like an iceskater. We’ll be laughing so much that we won’t even notice that we’re learning staccato and legato!
Music Together® Winter Classes begin January 19th and features the "Bells Collection!" Register today for a class near you!
